How A Carved Door Made
1.Drawing Design
We start each door right from Drawing design where clients are always well involved, actually clients usually find where the value of their doors are during this process, they can tell us the STORY and we carve that STORY onto their doors, or they just show us a picture where we know how to design doors.
Each door has a STORY carved, WOODTELLSTORY. See below some drawings which we already turned them into real doors.
2.Wood Species Options
There're various of wood species you can choose for your doors, like Mahogany, black walnut, knotty alder, ash, oak etc, this depends. Different wood species have different wood grains and costs.
African Mahogany which was considered as the most steady wood in the world, Mahogany doors are always quite econormical along with beautiful wood grain for hand carved wooden doors.
By the way, all wood logs we applied for doors are kyln dried enough before doors building.

3.Carpentry Work
Carpentry Work is the basement work for a wooden door no matter this door has carved designs or not, how tenon and mortise constructions applied, a good master-level carpentry work assures if this door could last for decades or not.

4.Hand Carving
Hand Carving process is where we are really proud of and this will take us the most of time to custom build a door, see below pictures for your reference of hand carving details. Chainsaw carving, chisel carving, roughly carving, detailed carving, shallow carving, high relief carving, we have the most artistic hand carving skills in the world to custom make each project as a treasure for our clients worldwide.

5.Prehung
Prehung will be applied after carving process while before stain process, hardwares like hinges, doorshoe sweepers, weather strippings, bolts, roller latches all will be pre-installed during prehung. Doors prehung pictures see attached.
6.Hand Sanding process
Hand Sanding process is also quite important, hand sanding allows a good feeling responds to you when your hands touch wood doors surfaces, usually we would apply 3 times hand sanding plus primer coatings for each single door, see below pictures how we hand sand each job.
7.Stain and Finish
Stain and finish process is another master-level skills we have, especially for those wild life animals we have the ability to stain the exact colors on, like the Eagle door and Lion door, both looks like alive, see below pictures how we stained and painted our doors.
8.Crate Packing
Each door has a big and strong crate packed for a long time shipping worldwide, the crate not along assures door save but also easily be opened when doors arrival.
9.Delivery
Directly shipped from our workshop to clients locations. During shipping process, clients do just nothing but sitting on a sofa because issues like custom duty, importing applications the shipper will do.
